Designed for the I/O output application of the Mitsubishi remote I/O control module FCUA-DX121, this solution optimizes the wiring process for the CNC M70/M700 series.
By using a transmission cable to establish a bidirectional connection between the external port DO-L of the control module (FCUA-DX121) and the 40-pin IDC connector on the bore relay module (G2R-OR16WMBA1-SP), additional 16-point relay modules can be expanded through a 20-pin IDC connector, quickly enabling machine tool signal output and achieving a 32-point relay external control application.
 

20-PIN IDC Connector Expansion for Increased I/O Flexibility and Additional Relay Output Applications

The 20-pin IDC connector design accommodates relay control applications requiring additional module expansion.
Simply connect the bore 20-pin dual-head IDC ribbon cable (FP-M_M-20C) between the bore relay module (G2R-OR16WMBA1-SP) and an additional 16-point relay module¹ to complete the expansion of 32 relay output points.

This relay module series offers two types of terminal blocks—European screw-locking terminals and push-in terminals—allowing selection based on wiring habits and application needs.
Each relay is equipped with a surge absorber for contact protection, reducing instantaneous surges that may damage components and cause interference, thereby extending product lifespan.
Additionally, each signal output point and power input terminal is equipped with an LED indicator. This allows operators to monitor the operational status in real time, and in case of failure, the action indicator light helps to quickly identify the fault source.
